TES AS MEDICINE: Tea's healing abilities have been known to mankind forever now, so why adulterate it with so canned 'detox' ingredients? Most teatoxing kits combine tea leaves with all-natural ingredients like senna leaf, ginseng root, liquorice root, chrysanthemum, nettle leaves, psyllium seeds, cinnamon bark, cloves, rhubarb, ginger, and lemongrass. While most of these ingredients are natural, their overuse may disrupt the body's natural rhythm.        while the world goes berserk over green tea, black tea(the chinese variety, not the English), oolong, and a tea called pu'er are also potent medicines. In fact, all herbs are medicine, whether they're in the form of 'tea', infusion, tincture, or capsule. One just needs to be careful since some herbs and flowers in teas can trigger allergies. Always read the ingredients on the package before you consume a new herbal tea. Also, tea can only be medicinal and detoxifying if your diet isn't taxing y

5) SETU BANDHASANA:

Some people tend to have tightness in the upper body and this pose helps to loosen up the torso. Tightness usually blocks the mind from going forward and stops the natural flow of energy. This pose, which is also called the bridge-pose, helps open up the body and strengthen the back and regulates one's breathing.
The next time you don't feel like getting out of bed or are feeling down and out, get into these poses and stay there for 20-30 seconds, till your body  feels the entire stretch. They don't just work physically, but also release a bout of emotions that you may not be able to confront on a daily basis. So, help yourself relax, breath and most importantly, let go!

6) UTTANASANA:

This pose, aka the standing forward-fold, is brilliant for loosening up the back. If you sit for more than eighth hours a day, you definitely need this asana.  Yoga theory states that most emotions channel their way out through the back, so the best way to release them is working on the back slowly and steadily. However, for  those who are in the pose and find it difficult to reach the floor with your knees straightened, you can micro-bend your knees or keep your hands on your thighs calves or even your ankles. This asana lowers blood pressure and helps you sleep better. So, if sleep is being affected due to stress, try standing in this pose in the morning, and release the tension you're carrying in your upper body.
